SanDisk iXpand™ Sync App Reviews

This use to work so well. I even talked to customer service and they just kept telling me to update the firmware even after I told them I already did. Wrote them again and now they dont even reply! Now I cant use it and not its a piece of crap. And expecting us to use a Windows computer to update the firmware is ridiculous. Im using a Mac am I suppose to go find a Windows computer just for your firmware update??

Just started using it and works as advertised so far. One thing I have noticed is when Im watching videos I cant hide the counter and subtitles toggle. Would be that big of a deal except it covers the subtitles. Might have to check out ibridge if there is no fix.

The app does what it is supposed to do perfectly.

This app was great until I updated it. Now Im not able to access the flash drive at all. Ive updated the flash drive and the app, Still no success.

requires a firmware update. it can not detect the hardware when plugged to a computer or an iphone. i can only use this as a plain flashdrive. you may want your money back, cause i do.

AC3 Movie sound still does not work. Why you not fixing it??

Now while playing a movie there is no pause or back arrow. Please fix

I dont know what all the bad reviews are about. This app and the flash drive work great for me. Works for photos, videos, documents, etc. on iPad mini 2

I purchased the disk drive and subsequently downloaded the app in hopes of expanding the amount of video I can hold. Well, I come to find to find out that Apple has shut down the ability for the drive to play videos ever since iOS 8. What a waste. I have the 128GB version of iPad, so Ive spent the money on storage, but now im stuck.

My security vault crashed while transferring files and now i cant access my security fault due to incorrect password or corrupt how do i fix it without losing my memory i have

I purchased the iXpand for media consumption and it turns out I cant watch a movie with out a ton of skips. I paid $100 at Best Buy and I really cant say it was a good purchase. Please fix the AC3 issues! Also fix the OPEN WITH option it crashes the app when you select it. Why arent there any responses from the developers on all these bad reviews?? If there isnt going to be a fix then we should know so we can take this back and get our money

Freezes and crashes, controls no longer are enable. Needs a serious upgrade or Ill be using is as a very expensive doorstop. Right now it can only be used as a USB drive that I could have got for about 1/10th the cost.

Sadly, SanDisk either has subpar engineers or does not have a working relationship with Apple. If you updated your iPhone or iPad and then connect to the ixpand drive, you will be surprised with a notice that the file corrupted or your password wrong. Sadly, your only option will be to erase the SecuredAccessVault. I have spent my entire afternoon trying to recover the content. I would not recommend this product. I doubt vendors at conferences even hand out such pathetic drives to prospective clients.

I updated my phone to 9.3.1 and I connected the flash drive to my to my iPhone and could not be detected and I went to the website and said it needed a update on the firmware to be 4.4.7 I plugged in my flash drive updated it to the 4.4.8 and nothing please fix

Ok, so it seems like from my iPad I can save things to the drive just fine, but when it comes to opening a word document I cant open it in another app. I can only open it on the computer. Same goes for photos, I cant open them in or save them to camera roll. The only way to get files from the drive to your device is to go to the computer then from the computer to your device. Not the best set up please fix. Updated: I found out how to open a document in another app, but photos not as sure yet. Also can you make it so the drive wont make duplicates? I probably have 4 copies of a a lot of photos.

I dont really have any complaints about the drive itself, but the app could use some improvement. First, it crashes periodically for no apparent reason. Second, the app desperately needs the ability to integrate with cloud services. I needed to transfer some music files from the drive to the cloud so I could listen on other devices, and discovered that doing so was very difficult because there were no provisions for exporting data from the app. To make matters worse, when I did find a workaround, I could only transfer one file at a time. To say the least, transferring 60 music files individually was a huge pain.

Now i can delete from my iPhone and free up space instantly.

Doesnt work with APPLE PRO or APPLE 6Plus....having to wait for IOS issue? Ugh!

Dont update,I cant open my vault security,no recognize my fingerprint and my password please fix the problem 4/21/16

If you run iOS 9.3.1. This app will not work. Until they figure out the bug your ixpand flash driver is useless. Your $100 driver will sit there until the new update. Unless you use it for other purposes than the reason I bought it for to sync photos form my iPhone to the driver.
